Andy Heaver: Instructor Chief Instructor - Master Andy Heaver, 6th Dan
Senior Kyreugi referee (sparring) and Senior Poomsae Judge (forms)

Started training in 1979, studying under now 8th Dan Grand Master Roy Oldham (who was one of the first ten civilians to attain their black belts in this country) and then under now 9th Dan Grand Master Tony Quigley (who learnt whilst in the airforce in Korea). Therefore, the knowledge gained has not been watered down through word of mouth and time.

Peter Walker: Instructor Senior Instructor - Peter Walker, 4th Dan
Began training with Master Heaver at the inception of Millennium TKD in 2000. Trained to black belt by 2004 and became a qualified instructor. Reached 2nd dan in 2004, before moving to Germany in 2010. Trained and instructed at the Korean-German Sport Institute under Grandmaster Ryu, achieving 3rd and 4th dan in this period. Visited Korea several times for both recreational and development purposes, training with cutting edge Taekwondo proponents from Korean University Taekwondo faculties.

Took a major role in the organisation of the Munich Open Hanmadang Championship, an international tournament of sparring, patterns and breaking skills.

Returned to Millennium TKD in 2021, looking forward to learning more from Master Heaver and sharing some of my German / Korean experiences with the next generation of black-belts-to-be.

Susan Hammond: Instructor Senior Instructor - Susan Hammond, 3rd Dan
Corner Judge and Poomsae Judge

Started training in 1989 under Master Hundertajlo, a United Taekwondo Association (UTA) instructor at Taebaek Taekwondo in Oldham. Enjoying the competitive Kyorugi (sparring) side of TKD, won many medals and represented Great Britain on the UTA Team, training under GM T.W Shin. Following a break in training whilst I raised my family and moved from Oldham to St Helens I found Millennium Taekwondo and Master Heaver.

Luke McCarthy: Instructor Instructor - Luke McCarthy, 2nd Dan

Started training in 2010 under Master Andy Heaver (6th Dan). Attained 1st Dan in 2015 and 2nd Dan in 2017. Since then I have taken up the roll of junior instructor in the class. I have participated in several tournaments around the country and annually attend a seminar in Germany where I gain knowledge to share with the rest of the class.
